Freak Power: The Ballot or the Bomb is a great addition to other documentaries out and the focus on his run for sheriff is a period to focus on. I went into this with the knowledge of a video i saw on youtube awhile back about Hunter’s campaign trail, theres a part where Bill Murray chants for Hunter into a blow horn (in case anyone knows which video i’m talking about since i can’t seem to find it), 20 minutes in i learned there was a LOT more to this story that i had no clue about, the documentary does a great job of presenting the era to the viewer and not to mention the quality of footage was remastered beautifully.
