Pom-Pom Sandals!

When my sister came to visit me this summer, she was asking me if I knew how to make Pom-Pom Sandals and I was like….  “No, but we can try to make some”  And that is exactly what we did.     So, we gather the kids and went to the store.  It was fun choosing the perfect sandal and embellishments 🙂   Here are the steps on how to make your Pom-Pom Sandals!

I used the ribbon and Pom-Poms to decorate my sandals I glue them with Tacky Glue.   In my case I added some Brown matching strings to the sandal so I can tie it to my leg (Roman Style)  and I added beads and the metal findings to my sandal as desired.

Michael’s has a very large selection of ribbon, beads and metal finings.  I always go to the Clearance rack first to see what they have 🙂Beads and metal findings

Easy & On a Budget Halloween Makeup

This craft idea was a life saver, I been so busy and I totally forgot to go out and get a Halloween costume for my teen son.  He is not into super hero or movie themes lol  but I noticed he was watching The Walking Dead so I though he is older and more mature now so, Zombies was perfect!zoomnie3

I started googling about makeup ideas because I knew he was not looking into wearing a full costume but he will love to have some make up done.

I came across some photos and several videos on how to do Zombie looks, this idea was the one that I though it will fit my budget and time limit the best.

My son was not sure if he will like it, after all… mom was doing it and she is no makeup professional hahahahaha.     So this is when I decided to try it on my own face and the look on his face was priceless lol

If you are interested in learning how to do an easy and cheap zombie makeup for this upcoming Halloween, I created my own tutorial video 🙂

All his friends were asking about his make up they all though it was very cool and the best part of all so did my son 🙂  We moms can do anything and this craft was kind with my wallet 🙂

All you have to do is get the materials listed below and watch the tutorial 🙂
